Our 2026 survey says…
- 2,558 registrants were eligible to participate;
- 630 responded for a 25% response rate;
- The 2026 average student hourly wage is $23.00 and
- New questions, additional analysis and registrant employer tracking added to this year’s report.
CTTAM represents 2,558 certified registrants who are technical professionals registered with the Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM). Registrants holding a “right to title but no right to practice” are those under The Certified Applied Science Technologists Act of Manitoba. This means they are legally granted the exclusive use of protected professional titles, but the law does not restrict uncertified individuals from doing the same technical work.
