CTTAM has moved

Reducing our office footprint with staff working remotely and providing member services is now a viable option.

Winnipeg, MB, June 15, 2020 — The Certified Technicians & Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) today, announced its decision to permanently close its office located at 602–1661 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has relocated to a co-workspace with requirements required as detailed below.

“The COVID-19 pandemic caused organizations to rethink their operations and CTTAM needs the fluidity to meet the challenges of a virtual workplace and avail our services to our clients,” said Robert D. Okabe, CTTAM CEO & Registrar.

“Over the last few weeks, in our efforts to respect stay-at-home directives, our staff worked from home. During this time, we were able to make video conferencing and other such tools work. We were not tied to a physical, shared office space.”

“While our staff won’t be physically traveling to an office every day, this choice does not change the level of services, support and value we provide to our members. A new future is taking shape and we are excited.”

Community Office Space
CTTAM has also purchased a membership with Launch, a co-working office space, which will be used to host Board meetings as well as meet with Members by appointment only. The Launch Southside office space is located at 200-1460 Chevrier Boulevard and with access to an alternate location at 500-167 Lombard Avenue, in Winnipeg.

As a reminder to our Members requiring an in-person meeting, you have to call CTTAM at 204-784-1081 and book an appointment. In addition, video meetings are also available via ZOOM or Microsoft Teams.
