Background
Our committees support the Board by handling specific tasks or areas that require dedicated attention. They take on detailed work, such as registrant’s regulatory category, research, planning or problem-solving and bring recommendations to the Board for consideration. By leveraging the expertise of committee members, we can be more effective in achieving our goals and fulfilling our mission.
We have nine committees:

The Certification Board
One of the primary duties of our nominations committee is to seek out potential candidates to fill board member positions. The committee is trusted to review candidates’ qualifications to ensure they match our requirements. This includes examining how candidates are assessed.

Leadership and Development Committee
The Leadership and Development Committee recommends educational courses specifically designed for the professional growth and development of our registrants. Committee work includes researching courses, identifying speakers for educational events, reviewing course materials, recommending programs and sponsorship opportunities.

The nominations committee’s primary responsibility is to identify, evaluate and recommend suitable candidates for Board positions. The committee is trusted to review candidates’ qualifications, ensuring that the Board of Directors has the right mix of skills, experience and diversity to effectively govern our organization.
